The digital signature provides legality, authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation.
It also surpasses the holographic signature in legal security.
The National Law No 25.506 has placed the Digital Signature on the same level as the holographic signature. This technological tool uses a mathematical procedure to guarantee the identity of the Natural or Legal Person signing a digital document. In addition, it is possible to determine that the document has not been modified since the moment of signature and that the holder cannot be unaware of having signed a digital document.

They are the digital documents that allow verifying the authority of the Digital Signature of a holder, whether it is a Physical Person or a public/private Legal Entity.
The digital certificate is signed by a Licensed Certifier, a Public or Private Organization that has the endorsement of the Licensing Entity to issue digital certificates within the regulatory framework of the Law. The Secretariat of Public Innovation is the Authority of Application of the regulatory regime that establishes the digital signature infrastructure stipulated by Law No. 25,506 and its function is to grant, deny or revoke the licenses of the licensed certifiers supervising their actions.
The regulatory framework supports the legal value of the Digital Signature, and extends to the solutions developed by Encode and applied in its digital certificates issued as a Licensed Certifier.
All digital signatures are presumed to belong to the holder of the digital certificate.
For a digital signature to be valid it must comply with the following requirements:
To have been created during the validity period of the signatory's valid digital certificate.
It must be duly verified with the data indicated in said certificate.
It must have been issued or recognized by a Licensed Certifier.
If the digital signature verification procedure applied to a digital document is true, it is presumed that the document has not been modified since it was signed.
Once the certificate is validated and not revoked, the user to whom the signature corresponds cannot reject what was signed with that certificate.
In this new modality of operation, two main elements must be established:
Identification of the parties.
Integrity of the document or message.
